Josh Dominie
Pro Manager
Josh has been golfing since he was 10 years old. He fell in love with the game easily at a young age as he was a member at three clubs as junior golfer: The Algonquin Golf Club, St. Stephen Golf Club and The St. Croix Country Club. His passion for playing the game led him to pursue Professional Golf Club Management at Holland College. While studying in Charlottetown, PEI he also played on the Hurricane golf team for three years and attended the CCAA Golf Nationals in Chilliwack, BC in 2016.
He began working in the industry as the golf shop supervisor at the Algonquin Golf Club in 2014. By the end of his third year at Holland College and going into his third season at the Algonquin Golf Club, Josh decided to turn professional and join the PGA of Canada.
In 2017 Josh moved to Ontario to gain private golf club experience, where he became the Assistant Professional at Islington Golf Club in Etobicoke. For three years he helped run the pro shop, guest services, men’s and lady’s leagues, tournaments, junior clinics, adult clinics, the winter golf academy and had a golf student roster of 40.
Josh has a great passion for playing the game casually and competitively. Constantly learning how to perfect his game and his teaching methods to make golf easier to learn for his students.
Between the years at a resort and private golf club, Josh is ready to provide a great experience for members and guests this season at the Hollows.
